JassStation Self-Service Kiosk Launchers

Quick-access Windows Batch scripts to launch Google Chrome in full-screen self-service kiosk mode with automatic silent printing.

New

1. Isolated Profile & Task Kill Launcher

Recommended

Terminates any hung Chrome process and forces Chrome to run in an isolated user directory (C:\kiosk-chrome) ensuring full-screen kiosk and clean state every time.

start-kiosk.bat
@echo off
title JassStation Kiosk Launcher

:: Close any existing Chrome kiosk instance
taskkill /F /IM chrome.exe >nul 2>&1

:: Launch Chrome in a 100% isolated Kiosk profile (forces full screen & silent printing)
start "" chrome.exe --user-data-dir="C:\kiosk-chrome" --kiosk --kiosk-printing --app=http://192.168.1.126:3001/self-service

exit
Fallback

2. Auto-Path Detection Launcher

v1.0 Classic

Scans 64-bit, 32-bit Program Files, and local AppData paths automatically if Chrome is not added to the system PATH.

start-kiosk-fallback.bat
@echo off
title JassStation Self-Service Kiosk

echo Starting JassStation Kiosk on Google Chrome...

:: Checks standard Chrome paths automatically
if exist "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" (
    start "" "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --kiosk --kiosk-printing --app=http://192.168.1.126:3001/self-service
) else if exist "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" (
    start "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --kiosk --kiosk-printing --app=http://192.168.1.126:3001/self-service
) else if exist "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" (
    start "" "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --kiosk --kiosk-printing --app=http://192.168.1.126:3001/self-service
) else (
    start chrome --kiosk --kiosk-printing --app=http://192.168.1.126:3001/self-service
)

exit

Isolated Profile

The new version uses --user-data-dir="C:\kiosk-chrome" so it never interferes with personal Chrome tabs or saved logins.

Target Kiosk URL

Both scripts target:
http://192.168.1.126:3001/self-service

Windows Autostart

Press Win + R, type shell:startup, and place a shortcut there to boot automatically into the kiosk.
